Homework Due on Tuesday 9/14

An archaeologists job is to study the past using the things that were left behind. They look for artifacts, and like detectives put together the clues they find to come to conclusions about the past. For this assignment, I would like you to think like an archaeologist. On a separate piece of paper, sketch an object that you currently own that someone 20,000 years from now might find. Be as detailed as possible. Now pretend you are an archaeologist (social scientist) living 20,000 years from now and you find this object. What might this object tell you about the person who lift it behind? Describe the object as if you don't know what it is. What might it have been used for? Why did this person own this object? Please, no video game systems. The idea here is to look at the object and make some guesses as to what it was used for. Write this analysis on a separate piece of paper. It should be about a page in length including the picture.
