Religion of ancient Greece

Greek religion centered on gods and goddesses. These gods and goddesses controlled the natural and human world and were often blamed for bad things that happened to the people of Greece
Zeus was the head of the gods and he lived on Mount Olympus with many of the other gods. The Greeks prayed to the gods and made sacrifices to the gods. They held festivals in their honor. The gods and goddesses were shown with human qualities and human flaws.
